Screened on the Bristol IMAX screen as part of the excellent Forbidden Worlds festival – this tale of a trailer park whiz kid being recruited by an alien to pilot a fighter spacecraft was one of the early CGI films, but I had no idea that – being from 1984 – it was essentially the 2nd ever CGI space film! I must be losing my grip, because I think I nearly cried at the last 5 minutes.
