I’m a bit sheepish about clicking on music documentaries on streaming services because of the high volume of non-stories that have come out of it – however this one was pretty decent; less about any specific band and more an extended chat with the still-living half (/third) of Rock Album Cover creators of legend, Hipgnosis. Specifically, Aubrey “Po” Powell. In one way it highlighted what used to be possible for someone with a bit of chutzpah who wasn’t afraid to graft hard back in the 1960s – is it all different now, or is it just that most of us really don’t have any imagination? Left me wondering what the doco would’ve been like had Storm Thorgerson still been around to participate. A decent watch.
