To be honest I’ve absolutely No Idea how we got to this one. All I can say it is was 107 mins of utter silliness which I genuinely enjoyed. Notionally a story about two middle-aged best friends from the mid-west, stepping right out of their comfort zones and going on a trip to Florida… but ending up as SO much more – this film leaves its mark on stupid accents in a way I’ve not seen since Fargo. It’s almost hard to fathom how stupid the plot of this film is, and yet – totally unlike The Brothers Grimsby, it seems to carry it off without feeling like a total insult. 👍
